For geopolitical competition, the US and Israel are pressuring Tehran to curb its support for Syria throughout the Middle East.
What will be the new trend of the geo-political landscape for the Middle East?
The future geo political map in middle east is not certain. Iran has funded Shi’ite militia groups in Syria, Iraq, and Lebanon. USA troops and special forces are operating in Iraq and Syria working with local partners to defeat Islamic State. Russia has some troops and fighter planes in Syria supporting the Assad government against insurgent groups. Israel has repeal attacked Iranian positions in Syria fearing Iranian influence. It seems that both the Assad government of Syria and Russians have allowed Israel to attach Iranian positions.
Outcome is not certain, but it seems as though at least for the time being we can expect a level of continued conflict particularly between Iran funded militias and Israel.
