A vice consul from the U.S. Embassy will be available on Thursday, August 12, 2010, in Qingdao, Shandong Province, China. The vice consul will assist American citizens by performing notary services, adding passport pages, and providing registration information. Passport applications will also be available, and the vice consul will answer other questions related to Embassy services. If you wish to request any of the above-mentioned services, you must email the following information to

l Applications for Passport Renewal and Additional Visa Pages:
(1) Name (as it appears in the passport);
(2) Date of birth;
(3) Gender;
(4) Place of birth;
(5) Social security number;
(6) Permanent address;
(7) Current city of residence;
(8) Contact telephone (home, business, or mobile);
(9) Passport number;
(10) Passport issuance and expiration date and is places of issuance.
A copy of the passport biographic page (page with photo) is also required to be included as an attachment to the email. Alternatively, you can fax a copy of the photo page of your passport to (86-10) 8531-3300.
