Edward E. Lehman, Managing Director of Lehman, Lee & Xu, was invited again by CCTV to talk about Chinese legal issues on March 10, 2011, during the Fourth Session of the 11th National People’s Congress (NPC) of China, which commenced on March 3, 2011 and will end up on March 14, 2011.
During the Fourth Session of the 11th National People’s Congress (NPC) of China, China’s top legislator Wu Bangguo announced that a socialist system of laws with Chinese characteristics has been established “on schedule” in China.
Mr. Lehman is a long-time legal commentator of CCTV, the national TV station of China. Mr. Lehman has been working in China for over 20 years and has witnessed the great progress China has made in the building of a new legal system. His opinions about China’s legal issues have been well received by the public.
