The Little Sheep’s official name is Inner Mongolia Little Sheep Catering China Co., Ltd. which was founded in August 1999 in Inner Mongolia. In Jun 2008, the Little Sheep is listed in Hongkong (HK 0968), becoming the first Chinese catering company listed in Hongkong. In May 2011, there was a saying that Yum! Brand Inc. intended to buy the Little Sheep in 4.43 billion Hongkong Dollar. Yum! Brand Inc. owns the KFC and Pizza Hut, etc.
Although the acquisition is still waiting the approval by Ministry of Commerce, there is a good chance that this little pure inner Mongolia sheep is becoming an American sheep.
