Managing Director of Lehman, Lee & Xu has been selected by his peers for inclusion in Who’s Who in American Law 2011-2012 (17th Edition) due to the fact Mr Lehman, was the first American Lawyer to work for a Chinese law firm since the establishment of People’s Republic of China (1949) when he went to work for the Shanghai Law Office of Foreign Economy and Trade in 1989; he is the first American to manage a Chinese Patent Agency, a Chinese trademark Agency, and a Chinese law firm, he is the longest serving managing director of any law firm in China (20 years) Mr Lehman’s election to membership by his peers distinguishes him as one of the leading achievers from the United States to further the rule of law in China’s nascent legal and intellectual property system. Mr Lehman is the legal correspondent to China Central Television, has lectured at many Chinese universities and law schools over the years and was a fellow at the China Academy of Social Sciences where he advised on franchise, tax, not-for-profits, PE fund, and intellectual property matters.
